Partnering with a Public Speaking Class at Doshisha Women’s College

Six AKPers participated in Public Speaking class offered by the Department of English at Doshisha Women’s College.

Taking inspiration from the Halloween candy AKPers brought with them to the classroom, the professor started the class with a discussion on Halloween culture.

During this class, the students were introduced to an event called “Pecha Kucha Inspired,” which will be held in December. AKPers were split one per small group with the Doshisha students and gradually became more and more animated as they joined the conversations. Overall, the AKPers were very proactive and reliable.
