Kansaiben Lecture Part 2

10/11/2016

Today was the second Kansaiben Lecture. This time, Nishimata-sensei from Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies spoke with us.

First, let’s review!

わからへん (Kansaiben for “I don’t understand”)

あかん! (Kansaiben for “No!”)

Hmm, can I ask you a question?

Today, we learned Kansaiben polite forms, how to ask permission, and some vulgar terms as well.

It would be great if everyone learned some Kansaiben! Nishimata-sensei, thank you very much!
